When sending the link to people, I'm planning on sending it along with these two versions of my magazine adverts:
This meant the the questions I was writing were going to be based around those two designs, and how to combine the positives of both to create one final product. I thought it would be best to only include closed questions because this meant it would be easier for the respondents to answer and it would be more efficient to compare results. However, I thought that it would be useful to have a last question available which was open ended where people can include any other thoughts they had.
To make sure I received as many responses as possible, I made all of the questions compulsory to answer apart from the last one. This meant that the respondents weren't able to skip any questions. This is why all (but the last) questions have a * at the start.
