THE IDEA:
The majority of indie music videos follow the common convention of having lip syncing. Throughout my video, I will include various shots of the main character singing on a bus during the night.
There will be shots taken in different locations of the main character being alone whilst having other scenes of her in the same locations and same camera angle but will be a flashback / memory of her with her partner. The two scenes will contrast against each other and reflect the storyline throughout the lyrics since I am interpreting them to be about a break-up.
Some of the contrasting scenes will be located on the streets of Shoreditch where there are various walls with graffiti, a campfire, and of course a bus.
The "memories" will be shown through editing the colours and adding filters on the shots. I will try to go for a similar look as in this video.
